Elias Realty adds 75 jobs in Livonia, Brighton

Elias Realty isn't William Elias's first business. The serial entrepreneur owns mortgage, debt consolidation and accounting firms, and he has grown Elias Realty to almost 100 employees in two offices in Metro Detroit in two years.

The Livonia-based business has gone from five people at its start to 80 today. It recently opened up an office in Brighton. Elias Realty focuses on the changing face of today's housing market, specializing in short sales and foreclosures.

"Being able to adapt to change is very important," says William Elias, owner of Elias Realty. "We do that every week."

Elias also attributes his company's success to its commitment to marketing itself. Elias Realty spends about $1 million on marketing at a time when most real-estate firms have cut back those budgets to stay afloat. "You don't see many real-estate companies marketing," Elias says.

His company isn't focused on growth much these days as it is quality. "I want to have a very high-quality service I can provide to everyone," says Elias. "I just want to be very good at what I do."
