Detroit IT firm FutureNet Group expects to add 25 jobs this year

One of Detroit's best-kept secrets, an up-and-coming business FutureNet Group, looks to expand yet again this year. The IT firm plans to create 25 jobs within the next 12 months.

Excerpt:

FutureNet Group, a West Side, minority-owned IT firm, does much more than just deal with the technical needs for environmental and construction industries.

No wonder it was named as one of the state's Top 12 small businesses by the Michigan Small Business Administration in 2006. FutureNet is growing about 70 to 80 percent annually. The company's employee base has grown to 45 people since its founding in 1994 and it expects to add another 25 jobs within the next year.
