In less than 10 years, WorkForce Software has added almost 100 people to its payroll. Numbers any mid-sized business would be proud to post.
The Livonia-based company hired at least 20 people since the beginning of this year and saw 19 percent revenue growth in 2007.
"It takes time to get it into the market and get the references," says Kevin Choski, president and CEO of WorkForce. "People are talking about us now. That's what's driving our growth."
Expectations for the future are high with WorkForce anticipating 25 percent growth this year and another 50 percent next year. As a result they currently have 30 positions open right now in software development, project management and marketing.
"We're hiring like crazy," says Melissa Diemert, director of marketing for WorkForce Software.
The company specializes in workforce-management software, i.e. the programs that keep track of work hours, time-off requests and attendance. The idea is that automating these interactions allows businesses to streamline human resources and increase productivity.
"There is a huge return on investment," Choski says. "It's so big it can pay for itself within six months."
WorkForce Software offers cradle-to-grave interaction with its products, meaning it develops, sells and supports its programs.
