From floor to ceiling, this Birmingham mansion is "Made in Michigan"

When Birmingham's Brandywine Construction and Management decided to build a multi-million-dollar spec home on Bloomfield's Quarton Lake, they decided they only wanted the best. That's why the 7,000 sq. ft mansion was completed only using Michigan contractors and materials.

It was personally supervised every step of the way by the builder himself, Arya Afrakhteh, who holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida at Gainesville. Afrakhteh is also the 2010 first place winner of the Detroit Home Design Award for his construction at 653 Wallace Street in Birmingham.

The residence, built at 752 Lakeside, is one of only a few luxury spec homes being built in Metro Detroit.
