Data Partners growing, hires 2

Data Partners founders didn't wait for the economy to contract before starting their own business. They started the 8-year-old company when the last recession landed earlier in the decade and haven't looked back.

The Sylvan Lake-based firm now has 22 employees, two interns, and a stable of up to a dozen independent contractors. It has added a number of independent contractors and interns over the last year and expects to hire two more salespeople within the next 12 months.

"We expect to hire in Michigan," says Cynthia Meinke, Great Lakes regional director for Data Partners.

Data Partners specializes in preserving and maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of a company's most critical data. It utilizes its own expertise and multi-vendor technologies that help a business store, manage, secure, and share its data with confidence.

The company has grown primarily in Michigan so far but expects to push beyond the state's boundaries over the next year. It plans to grow across the Midwest, primarily in the Great Lakes states, such as Minnesota.
