Global economic expansion is the topic at the Woodcock Legacy Seminar

For entrepreneurs, government officials, business leaders and education experts, Oakland University's Woodcock Legacy Seminar is a chance to build bridges between the U.S. and China, our largest trading partner.

Cross-cultural etiquette, politics and business opportunities will all be topics at this year's event, which takes place at 1:15 p.m. on Sept 22 - not to mention the chance to connect with key experts from both nations.

Oxford Schools Superintendent William Skilling, Oakland County Deputy County Executive Doug Smith and OU's Dean of Business Administration Mohan Tanniru will all lead discussions on bridge-building opportunities with China on a local and national level.

The Woodcock Legacy Seminar takes place at Meadow Brook Hall on the campus of Oakland University. Admission is $50 (including a networking reception) and reservations are strongly encouraged, as seating is limited. For more information, visit http://www.oakland.edu/woodcock2010.
