Detroit is the birthplace of electronic music and Ferndale-based Paxahau has embraced the merger of technology and music to create one of metro Detroit's top promotional groups.

It only made sense that the company take over MOVEMENT, the annual Detroit Electronic Music Festival.

The festival will take place Memorial Day weekend May 26-28 at its home in Downtown Detroit's Hart Plaza.

This year's Electronic Music festival features over 70 acts including performances by legendary Detroit artists Moodymann live featuring Pitch Black City; Model 500 featuring the godfather of Detroit Techno Juan Atkins; and Jeff Mills, the longtime hard hitting "wizard" of Detroit Techno.
