Dearborn to get new rail station

On Thursday, President Barack Obama announced that Michigan would receive $40 million in stimulus funds to replace or renovate three Amtrak stations -- including Dearborn's -- as part of a series of rail-related federal grants totaling $8 billion.

"I am pleased to see that the city of Dearborn will receive funding to build a first-class Amtrak station," said U.S. Congressman John Dingell (D-Dearborn).
